바른 선택(요나 1-1)

“너는 일어나 저 큰 성읍 니느웨로 가서 그것을 향하여 외치라....”(욘 1:2) "Go to the great city of Nineveh and preach against it" (Jonah 1:2).

요나처럼 입으로는

하나님을 주님이라고

고백하면서도 순종하지 않고,

조그만 상처를 받아도

쉽게 하나님을 떠나려 했던

지난날들을 회개합니다.

하나님이 주신 사명이

마음에 들지 않아도 끝까지

하나님을 따르기를 간구합니다.

하나님의 말씀 앞에

개인적인 판단을 모두 내려놓고

사명을 소중히 여기며

온전히 순종하게 하여 주시옵소서.

오늘도 말씀에 순종함으로

하나님을 경외하고,

생명 살리는 사명을 감당하도록

성령으로 함께 하여

주시옵기를 간구하며.

예수님 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

Lord, I repent for confessing with my mouth that You are My God just like Jonah, and not obeying to Your words. I also repent for easily trying to be apart from You when I was hurt.

Lord, I pray to follow my assigned duty until the end even when my heart is not satisfied for my given role. Help me to lay down all my thought before You and sincerily obey Your words.

I pray for the presence of the Holy Spirit so that I may fear You and take full responsibility of my assigned duty to save lives. We pray in Jesus name. Amen.
